To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report sets out a proposal to install seating within Diamond Jubilee Park, to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated budget to be split equally between the Cheadle and Gatley and Cheadle Hulme North Ward Delegated Budgets.

The Area Committee is requested to support the installation of seating in Diamond Jubilee Park.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out a proposal to install seating within Diamond Jubilee Park.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to a proposal to supply and install two standard steel benches within Diamond Jubilee Park, Cheadle at a cost of £1,700 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget as follows:-

Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation - £850

Cheadle Hulme North Ward allocation - £850
