To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

 

To report details the findings of a consultation exercise and seek approval for the introduction of a ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ traffic regulation order on the junction of Ravenoak Park Road and Ravenoak Road, Cheadle Hulme following reports that parked vehicles are said to be causing an obstruction together with creating a hazard and reducing visibility for other road users.

 

The Area Committee is requested to recommend that the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport gives approval to the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation orders and, subject to no objections being made received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the order at a cost of £760 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Cheadle Hulme South ward allocation):-

Ravenoak Park Road

 

Both Sides – From the intersection of the western kerb line of Ravenoak Road for a distance of 12 meters in a westerly direction.

 

Ravenoak Road

 

West Side – From a point 11.5 meters south of the projected southern kerb line of Ravenoak Park Road for a distance of 30 meters in a northerly direction.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing the findings of a consultation exercise and seeking approval for the introduction of a ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ traffic regulation order on the junction of Ravenoak Park Road and Ravenoak Road, Cheadle Hulme following reports that parked vehicles are said to be causing an obstruction together with creating a hazard and reducing visibility for other road users.
