To consider a report of the Service Director (Place Management)
The report seeks approval to improve safety at Vale View Primary School in Reddish.
The Area Committee is requested to consider the Service Director’s report and approve the following:-
No Waiting at Any Time:
Asquith Street
North side from the Easterly kerb line of Campbell Street for a distance of 5 metres in an Easterly direction; from a point 5 metres West of the Westerly kerb line of Burnham Avenue to a point 5 metres East of the Easterly kerb line of Burnham Avenue.
Campbell Street
East side from the Northerly kerb line of Asquith Street for a distance of 5 metres in a Northerly direction.
Burnham Avenue
Both sides from the Northerly kerb line of Asquith Street for a distance of 5 metres in a Northerly direction.
No Waiting and No Loading / Unloading Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm:
Asquith Street
North side from the Westerly kerb line of Harcourt Street for a distance of 8 metres in a Westerly direction.
South side from the Westerly kerb line of Harcourt Street for a distance of 10 metres in a Westerly direction.
Harcourt Street
Westerly side from a point 10 metres North of the Northerly kerb line of Asquith Street to a point 10 metres South of the Southerly kerb line of Asquith Street.
No Stopping on School Entrance Markings Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm:
Harcourt Street
East side from a point 9.5 metres South of the (projected) Southerly kerb line of Asquith Street for a distance of 25.5 metres in a Northerly direction.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Service Director (Place Management) requesting the Area Committee to give consideration to the introduction of measures to improve road safety at Vale View Primary School, Reddish.
RESOLVED – That the following be approved at an approximate cost of £1,300 to be funded from commuted sums for Traffic Regulation Orders associated with the development:-
