To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.

 

The report details and application from Marple Runners who have applied to utilise Brabyns Park to start and finish their Carnival Weekend 10k run on Sunday 16th June 2019 between the hours of 8.00am 1.00pm, accessing the site from 7.00am - 1.00pm to set up and close down. The 10k run will start and finish within Brabyns with the course route also utilising highway and canal routes (route map attached).

 

The Area Committee is requested to consider and determine the application.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to consider and application from Marple Runners who applied to use Brabyns Park to start and finish their Carnival Weekend 10k run on Sunday 16th June 2019 between the hours of 8am and 1.00pm, accessing the site for 7am-1.00pm to set up and close down.

 

RESOLVED – That the application from Marple Runners who applied to use Brabyns Park to start and finish their Carnival Weekend 10k run on Sunday 16th June 2019 between the hours of 8am and 1.00pm, accessing the site for 7am-1.00pm to set up and close down be approved.
