To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.
The report details a proposal to introduce No Waiting At Any Time traffic regulation orders on Oldmoor Road, Bredbury to address concerns from business proprietors of Oldmoor Road in relation to vehicles parking on the highway causing obstruction and visibility issues to articulated vehicles accessing/exiting premises.
The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the following scheme and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £960 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation):-
Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) Schedule “No Waiting At Any Time”
Oldmoor Road (North Side Internal Kerbline) - From a point 13 metres south east of the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Ashton Road for the entirety of the internal kerbline of the one way system.
Oldmoor Road (South Side Outer Kerbline) - From the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Ashton Road, for a distance of 16 metres in a south westerly direction.
Oldmoor Road (South Side Outer Kerbline) - From a point of 56 metres south east of the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Ashton Road, for a distance of 53 metres in a north easterly, northern direction.
Oldmoor Road (East Side Outer Kerbline) - From a point of 120 metres south east/ north of the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Ashton Road, for a distance of 49 metres in a northerly/north western direction.
Oldmoor Road (North Side Outer Kerbline) - From a point of 185 metres south east/ north/ westerly direction of the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Ashton Road, for a distance of 37 metres in a westerly direction.
