The Committee is recommended to grant planning permission, subject to conditions and an agreement to enforce the left turn only movement out of the road junction to Stockport Road, alongside the introduction of signage and any other necessary markings.

a member of the public spoke against the application; and

 

a representative of the applicant responded to Members’ questions.

 

It was then

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the Planning and Highways Regulation Committee be recommended to undertake a site visit in order to check the distances between Cuthbert Road and the development, and the size of the usable outdoor areas for residents.

 

(2) That it be requested that the building be ‘pegged out’, in particular adjacent to Cuthbert Road  in order that the distances be seen and that the visiting team view the development from Cuthbert Road from within a resident’s rear garden area.
