To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration
The report sets out the findings of a Traffic Regulation Order review along the full extent of Castle Street, Edgeley and seeks approval for the revocation and introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders.
The Area Committee is requested to recommend the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Orders detailed within Appendices A, B and C of the report and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days of the advertisement date, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) regarding a request to investigate the loading requirements for local businesses, the necessity of the taxi bays and a review of the waiting restrictions on Castle Street, Edgeley.
RESOLVED – (1) That the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing be recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulations Orders detailed in Appendices A, B and C of the report and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days of the advertisement date, the Orders be made.
(2) That the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration be requested to ensure the targeted enforcement of the Traffic Regulation Orders after they are introduced.
