To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report sets out the result of an investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles at the junctions of Kays Avenue with Forbes Road and Turncroft Lane.

 

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of the No Waiting at any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Kays Avenue, Offerton and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the result of an investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles at the junctions of Kays Avenue with Forbes Road and Turncroft Lane, Offerton.

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the Area Committee be minded to approve the following No Waiting at Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Kays Avenue, Offerton, at an approximate cost of £660 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Manor Ward allocation):-

 

Proposed Traffic Regulation Order No Waiting At Any Time

 

Kays Avenue – Both sides from its junction with Forbes Road for a distance of 10 metres in a North Easterly direction and from a point 5 metres South West of the South Westerly kerbline of Turncroft Lane for a distance of 5 metres in a South Westerly direction.

 

Forbes Road – North Eastern side from a point 10 metres south east of the south easterly kerbline of Kays Avenue to a point 10 metres North West of the North Westerly kerbline of Kays Avenue.

 

(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
