Minutes:
A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) providing an update on proposals to adopt an area of land adjacent to Annable Road and seeking the Area Committee’s approval for funding for associated drainage works.
It was commented that there remained outstanding issues with regard to the apportionment of responsibility for the surfacing of the area of land that was proposed to be adopted, particularly as Annable Road was due to be resurfaced as part of the Council’s Highway Improvement Programme.
RESOLVED - That approval be given to the installation of a single 90L gulley pot and associated drainage connections on Annable Road, Bredbury at a cost of £5,000 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation).
