The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the proposed scheme at a cost of £300 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal to install stone blocks at potential access points to Smithy Green Park, Woodley on either side accessed from Pine Street and Smithy Green, to prevent unauthorised access onto the site.
RESOLVED – (1) That approval be given to the installation of stone blocks at potential access points to Smithy Green Park, Woodley on either side accessed from Pine Street and Smithy Green, to prevent unauthorised access onto the site at a cost of £300 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation).
(2) That the thanks of the Area Committee be extended to officers for their work in expediting proposals to secure Smithy Green Park.
