To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

To report the proposed scope for the implementation of a footway upgrade to the front and side of St Petersgate House, Petersgate / Lawrence Street, Stockport.

The Area Committee is requested to comment on the report and recommend that the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing approves the measures contained within the report/developed drawings contained in Appendix A.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) regarding the proposed scope for the implementation of a footway upgrade to the front and side of St. Petersgate House, Petersgate/Lawrence Street, Stockport.

The Area Committee was advised that the construction would be the subject of a Section 278 Legal Agreement between the Council and the owners of St. Petersgate House. The cost of the construction would be met by the owners of St. Petersgate House, who had requested the works, and was estimated at £50,000.

RESOLVEDE – That the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing be recommended to approve the measures contained within the report/developed drawings contained in Appendix A to the report.
