To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report sets out a proposal to extend existing highway barriers, remove stones and concrete blocks, install a chicane using strategically placed highway barriers and install a fixed bollard on open space in the area in the vicinity of Park Road/Councillor Lane, Cheadle.

The Area Committee is recommended to support the maintenance scheme outlined in the report and authorise the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration to order the work.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out a proposal to extend existing highway barriers, remove stones and concrete blocks, install a chicane using strategically placed highway barriers and install a fixed bollard on open space in the area in the vicinity of Park Road/Councillor Lane, Cheadle.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the extension of the existing highway barriers, removal of stones and concrete blocks, installation of a chicane using strategically placed highway barriers and installation of a fixed bollard on open space in the area in the vicinity of Park Road/Councillor Lane, Cheadle, at an approximate cost of £1,369, to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Cheadle Hulme North Ward allocation).
