To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

Minutes:

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal to introduce a Traffic Regulation Order to extend the ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ parking restrictions around the junction of Moss Lane / Athol Road, Bramhall in order to keep a larger area around the junction free from vehicles, in order that vehicles can manoeuvre more safely, as well as introducing ‘Limited Waiting’ restrictions to prevent vehicles from using Athol Road as a free car park.

It was commented that there was an error in the report such that the limited waiting restrictions on Athol Road, Bramhall should reflect the timing of the existing restrictions on Syddal Road.

RESOLVED – That consideration of this item be deferred to a future meeting of the Area Committee pending clarification of the extent of the proposed limited waiting restrictions on Athol Road, Bramhall.
