To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.
The report details a proposal for the installation of a height barrier to the entrance to Woodford Recreation Ground; the installation of strategically placed wooden bollards to prevent further unauthorised occupations of land; and the installation of lockable drop posts to enable authorised access for maintenance vehicles.
The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the proposed scheme at a cost of £6,179 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bramhall South & Woodford ward allocation).

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a series of proposals to provide additional security at Woodford Recreation Ground to prevent further traveller incursions at the site.
