To consider a report of the Service Director (Place Management)
The report advises the Area Committee of the results of the investigation regarding the request for the introduction of traffic calming measures on the non-traffic calmed section of Palmer Avenue, Cheadle.
The Area Committee is requested to approve the proposed traffic calming feature, speed cushions 2.55 metres long, 1.9 metres wide and 75 millimetres high as follows, along specified sections of Palmer Avenue.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) of the Service Director (Place Management) advising the Area Committee of the results of the investigation regarding the request for the introduction of traffic calming measures on the non-traffic calmed section of Palmer Avenue, Cheadle.
RESOLVED – That approval be given to the following traffic calming feature at an approximate cost of £4650 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management Delegated Budget (Cheadle Hulme North Ward allocation):-
Proposed Traffic Calming Feature, Speed cushions 2.55 metres long, 1.9 metres wide and 75 millimetres high
Palmer Avenue, Cheadle – approximately 47 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Shakespeare Drive, Cheadle
Palmer Avenue, Cheadle – approximately 29 metres south east of the north easterly kerb line of Gainsborough Drive, Cheadle
