To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report details a proposal to introduce No Waiting At Any Time traffic regulations orders on Birchvale Drive and Peaslake Close, Romiley following concerns being raised by local residents in relation to the safety of the junction.

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and subject to the receipt of objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £1060 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green and Romiley ward allocation):-

No Waiting At Any Time

Peaslake Close (both sides) - From the intersection of northern kerbline of Compstall Road for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction.

Birchvale Drive (West Side) - From the intersection of the northern kerbline of Compstall Road for a distance of 18 metres in a north westerly direction

Birchvale Drive (East Side)- From a point of 8 metres of the northern kerbline of Compstall Road to the service road for 109 to 133 Compstall Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.

RESOLVED - That approval be given to the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to the receipt of objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £1060 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green and Romiley ward allocation):-
