To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report seeks approval to resolve an anomaly with parking restrictions on Poplar Grove in Stepping Hill.

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the following order being made:

Poplar Grove

South East side from a point 3.5 metres North East of the projected North Easterly property line of No. 3 in a South Westerly direction for a distance of 65 metres to the limit of Adopted Highway.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Area Committee to consider the introduction of No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on Poplar Grove to remove historical limited time restrictions and to improve access to Stepping Hill Hospital for emergency vehicles.

RESOLVED – That the following Traffic Regulation, at a cost of £700 to be funded from the Area Committee Delegated Budget (Stepping Hill Ward allocastion) be approved for legal advertising and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the Order being made:-
