This report describes the proposals by the Business Improvement District (BID), Totally Stockport, to introduce free wifi into Stockport Town Centre.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to note the report.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) setting out proposals by the Business Improvement District (BID), Totally Stockport, to introduce free wifi into Stockport town centre.

 

Officers were requested to try and ensure that the initiative was on as large a scale as possible.

 

RESOLVED – That the report be noted.
