To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration
The report sets out the results of an investigation into parked vehicles at the junction of Palmer Avenue and Ashbourne Avenue, Cheadle Hulme which are creating a nuisance and hazard for other road users.
The Area Committee is recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the results of an investigation into parked vehicles at the junction of Palmer Avenue and Ashbourne Avenue, Cheadle Hulme which were creating a nuisance and hazard for other road users.
RESOLVED – (1) That the Area Committee be minded to approve the following No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Palmer Avenue and Ashbourne Avenue, Cheadle Hulme at an approximate cost of £660 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Cheadle Hulme North Ward allocation):-
No Waiting at Any Time
Palmer Avenue
North east side from a point 10 metres north west of the north westerly kerbline of Ashbourne Avenue in a south easterly direction to a point 12 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Ashbourne Avenue.
Ashbourne Avenue
North west side from the north easterly kerb line of Palmer Avenue in a north easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
South east side from the north easterly kerb line of Palmer Avenue in a north easterly direction for a distance of 12 metres.
(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
