To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report sets out the findings of an investigation into vehicles parked at the junctions of Cheadle Road with Manston Drive and Oak Avenue in Cheadle Hulme.

The Area Committee is requested to recommend the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the findings of an investigation into vehicles parked at the junctions of Cheadle Road with Manston Drive and Oak Avenue in Cheadle Hulme.

RESOLVED – That the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing be recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order as shown on drawing number NM8-4435-001A attached to the report, at an approximate cost of £700 to be funded from the Strategic Network Budget, and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period from the advertisement date, the Order be made:-

Revoke No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am – 6.30pm

Cheadle Road

North east side, from the projected south easterly property line of No. 103 in a south easterly direction to the junction with Manston Drive.

South westerly side, from the north westerly kerbline of Oak Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a North Westerly direction.

Manston Drive

North westerly side, from the north easterly kerbline of Cheadle Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

Oak Avenue

North westerly side, from the south westerly kerb line of Cheadle Road for a distance of 4 metres in a south westerly direction.

South westerly side, from a point 10 metres north west of the north westerly kerbline of Oak Avenue in a south easterly direction to a point 10 metres south east of the south easterly kerbline of Oak Avenue.

Manston Drive

Both sides, from the north easterly kerbline of Cheadle Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

Oak Avenue

Both sides from the south westerly kerbline of Cheadle Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction.
