To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration
The report sets out the findings of a consultation exercise for road safety around Alexandra Park Primary School and seeks approval for the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders and associated signage and dropped kerbs.
The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the findings of a consultation exercise for road safety around Alexandra Park Primary School and seeking approval to the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders and associated signage and dropped kerbs.
RESOLVED – (1) The Area Committee was minded to approve the following Traffic Regulation Order in the vicinity of Alexandra Park Primary School, as shown on drawing no. 0305/AP/002 attached to the report, at an approximate cost of £10,500 to be funded from the Road Safety around Schools 2017-18 programme budget allocation:-

Revocation of No Stopping Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm on School Keep Clear Markings on Madras Road, Stockport, as referred to in the Consolidation order. (J25&J26)
