To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report details a proposal to install a new street name plate on Gillwood Drive with the instruction the road leads to Politt Croft “No Through Road”.

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the provision and installation of a new street name plate on Gillwood Drive, Romiley at a cost of £350 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green & Romiley ward allocation).

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal to install a new street name plate on Gillwood Drive with the instruction that the road leads to Politt Croft “No Through Road”.

RESOLVED – (1) That approval be given to the provision and installation of a new street name plate on Gillwood Drive, Romiley at a cost of £350 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green & Romiley ward allocation).

(2) That the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration be requested to submit a report to a future meeting of the Area Committee identifying the rationale for apportioning the proposed source of funding for the schemes and initiatives that are submitted to the Area Committee for consideration.
