To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report details a proposal for the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for “No Waiting at Any Time” on Leyfield Avenue, Romiley following concerns from residents regarding vehicles parked on Leyfield Avenue.

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising to the package of traffic regulation orders contained within the report, and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £700 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green & Romiley ward allocation).

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal for the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for “No Waiting at Any Time” on Leyfield Avenue, Romiley following concerns from residents regarding vehicles parked on Leyfield Avenue.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the legal advertising to the following traffic regulation orders, and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £700 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury Green & Romiley ward allocation):-

Revocation of limited waiting (Mon-Fri 10.00-18.00)

Leyfield Avenue ( North Side)

From a point 31.5 metres north east of the intersection of eastern kerbline of Guywood Lane, for a distance of 124 metres in a north east/south/easterly direction.

Proposed “Limited Waiting” Mon- Fri 10.00-18.00

Leyfield Road (north side)

From a point 31.5 metres north east of the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Guywood Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a north easterly direction.

Leyfield Road (East Side)

From a point of 84.5 metres east and then south of the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Guywood Lane for a distance of 25.5 metres in a south easterly direction.

Leyfield Avenue ( North Side)

From a point 33.5 metres west of the intersection of the western kerbline of Central Drive for a distance of 13.5metres in a westerly direction.

From a point 56 metres north east of the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Guywood Lane, for a distance of 28 metres in a south easterly direction.

From a point 47 metres west from the intersection of the western kerbline of Central Drive for a distance of 32 metres in a westerly then northerly direction.

Leyfield Avenue ( South Side)

From a point 10.5 metres east from the intersection of easten kerbline of Guywood Lane for a distance of 16.5 metres in a north easterly direction.

Leyfield Avenue (South Side)

From a point 54 metres east from the intersection of the eastern kerbline of Guywood Lane for a distance of 26.5 metres in a westerly then southerly direction.
