To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report seeks approval to introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on Melford Road in Hazel Grove.

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the following order can be made:

No Waiting at Any Time:

Melford Road

Both sides from the road closure at Kyle Road in a Westerly, South Westerly direction for a distance of approximately 55 metres to the limit of Adopted Highway; including that part up to a point 1.5 metres North West of the protected South Easterly property line of Unit 7.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Area Committee to consider the introduction of No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on Melford Road, Hazel Grove to support the new road layout arising from the A6MARR Complementary Measures.

RESOLVED – That the following Traffic Regulation be approved for legal advertising and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the Order being made:-
