To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

 

The report details the outcome of a consultation in relation to the introduction of proposed traffic regulation orders associated with the development at the end of Cherry Croft, Romiley.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the following scheme, and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days from the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of approximately £3,000 to be funded by way of a developer contribution:-

 

Proposed no waiting at any time

Cherry Croft South side from a point 116.5 metres east of the easterly kerb line of Watermeetings Lane, for a distance of 31.5 metres in an easterly direction, then 5 metres in a northerly direction.

 

Cherry Croft North side from a point 117 metres east of the easterly kerb line of Watermeetings Lane, for a distance of 42.6 metres in an easterly direction.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing the outcome of a consultation in relation to the introduction of proposed traffic regulation orders associated with the development at the end of Cherry Croft, Romiley.

 

RESOLVED - That approval be given to the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation orders, and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders, to funded by way of a developer contribution:-

Cherry Croft South Side from a point 2.2 metres west of the projected boundary line between 23/24 – 25/26 for a distance of 116.5 metres in a westerly, northerly, easterly direction to include all elements of the turning head to a point on Cherry Croft North Side 4 metres east of the projected boundary line between 19/20 – 21/22.
