To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report sets out the results of an investigation into drivers turning right from Church Road and travelling the wrong way along the one-way section of Gatley Green.

The Area Committee is requested to approve funds for a feasibility study to investigate proposals to install a small build-out at the junction of Church Road, to discourage drivers travelling up the one -way system of Gatley Green in the wrong direction.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the results of an investigation into drivers turning right from Church Road, Gatley and travelling the wrong way along the one-way section of Gatley Green.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to funds for a feasibility study to investigate proposals to install a small build-out at the junction of Church Road to discourage drivers travelling up the one-way system of Gatley Green in the wrong direction, at an estimated cost of £750 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation).
