To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

To report sets out a solution to an anomaly with a Traffic Regulation Order on Broomfield Drive in Reddish.

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to consider the introduction of a traffic regulation order on Broomfield Drive, Reddish.

RESOLVED – That the legal advertising of the following traffic regulation order be approved and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date, the order be made as advertised:

Broomfield Drive

North side from a point 10 metres West of the Westerly kerb line of Broomfield

Close to a point 10 metres East of the Easterly kerb line of Broomfield Close.

South side from a point 10 metres West of the Westerly kerb line of Broom Avenue to a point 10 metres East of the Easterly kerb line of Broom Avenue.

South side from a point 12 metres West of the cul-de-sac end for a distance of 24 metres in a Westerly direction.

Broomfield Close

Both sides from the Northerly kerb line of Broomfield Drive for a distance of 10

metres in a Northerly direction.

Broom Avenue

Both sides from the Southerly kerb line of Broomfield Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a Southerly direction.

Revoke No Waiting Monday to Friday 8.00 – 9.30am & 3.00 – 5.00pm:

South side from a point 17 metres East of the North Easterly kerb line of Reddish Road for a distance of 12 metres in an Easterly direction.

North side from a point 10 metres West of the Westerly kerb line of Broomfield Close to a point 10 metres East of the Easterly kerb line of Broomfield Close.

South side from a point 10 metres West of the Westerly kerb line of Broom Avenue to a point 10 metres East of the Easterly kerb line of Broom Avenue.

South side from a point 8 metres West of the cul-de-sac end (Easterly kerb line Broomfield Drive) for a distance of 24 metres in a Westerly direction.

Both sides from the Northerly kerb line of Broomfield Drive for a distance of 10 metres in a Northerly direction.

Broom Avenue

Both sides from the Southerly kerb line of Broomfield Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a Southerly direction.
