To consider an application for Ward Flexibility Funding received on behalf of Romley LifeCentre for a grant of £1,448 towards the cost of a replacement heating unit.

Alison Gater attended the meeting and submitted an application on behalf of Romiley LifeCentre for ward flexibility funding towards the cost of a replacement heating unit.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager stated that the applicant had requested a grant in excess of the £1,000 maximum that the guidelines on the use of the Ward Flexibility Fund state that the Area Committee would ordinarily consider appropriate.

RESOLVED – That, notwithstanding the guideline on the maximum award that would ordinarily be considered appropriate, in the light of the multiuse nature of the building towards which the grant would be allocated, approval be given to the award of a grant of £1,448 from the Ward Flexibility Budget to Early Essentials Stockport towards the cost of a replacement heating unit.
