To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.

The report requests the Area Committee to consider a number of proposed road safety initiatives close to Broadstone Hall Primary School.

The Area Committee are requested to consider the proposals detailed in the report.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to consider proposals for road safety measures to be implemented in the vicinity of Broadstone Hall Primary School.

RESOLVED – That the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration be informed that the Area Committee supports the following proposals to be funded via the Road Safety around School Initiative 2017/2018:-

·         Installation of 10 no. pencil bollards.

·         Installation access protection marking at the uncontrolled crossing point on Broadstone Hall Road South.
