To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report details a proposal for the introduction of ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ following concerns from several business occupiers regarding the difficulties their Heavy Goods Vehicles had experienced with access and egress on site, particularly due to parked vehicles around Bredbury Parkway Industrial Estate.

The Area Committee is requested to recommend that the Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing gives approval to the legal advertising of the package of traffic regulation orders contained within the report at a cost of £950 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation).

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal for the introduction of ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ traffic regulation orders, and associated revocations, following concerns from several business occupiers regarding the difficulties their Heavy Goods Vehicles had experienced with access and egress on site, particularly due to parked vehicles around Bredbury Parkway Industrial Estate.

RESOLVED - That the Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing be recommended to give approval to the legal advertising of the package of traffic regulation orders contained within the report, and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £950 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation).
