To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration
The report sets out the results of an investigation in respect of parking issues on Edward Street, Stockport, outside Fred Perry House.
The Area Committee is requested to recommend the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) following a request to investigate concerns in respect of parking issues on Edward Street, Stockport, outside Fred Perry House, caused mainly by all day parking in the Disabled Bays Only parking bays and on the footway at the junctions with Edward Street and Lacy Street, and Edward Street and Piccadilly.
RESOLVED – That the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing be recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order set out in Appendices A and B of the report at an approximate cost of £2,200 to be funded from the Cabinet Member’s Highways Budget and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
