A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) seeking approval for funds for a feasibility study to look at installing traffic calming features in the form of ‘Give Way’ priority chicanes to slow down traffic on Highgrove Road, Cheadle.
RESOLVED – That approval be given to the undertaking of a feasibility study to investigate proposals to install traffic calming features in the form of ‘Give Way’ priority chicanes to slow down traffic and for a utilities search to be carried out on Highgrove Road, Cheadle, at an approximate cost of £1,000 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation).
