To consider a report of the Corporate Director of Place Management and Regeneration
The report sets out an application from Life Leisure to hold a Tough Tribe event in Woodbank Memorial Park and Vernon Park and the Poise Brook Valley on 23 September 2018.
The report is being considered by the Stepping Hill Area Committee because part of the route of the event falls within the Offerton Ward. The matter will also be considered by the Central Stockport Area Committee on 8 March 2018.
The Area Committee is recommended to approve the application, subject to all appropriate paperwork and licences being obtained and submitted to the Council at least one week prior to the event taking place.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out an application from Life Leisure to hold a Tough Tribe Tribe event in Woodbank Memorial Park and Vernon Park and the Poise Brook Valley on 23 September 2018.
The application had been approved by the Stepping Hill Area Committee at its meeting held on 6 March 2018.
RESOLVED – That the application from Life Leisure to hold a Tough Tribe event on Woodbank Memorial Park, Vernon Park and the Poise Brook Valley on 23 September 2018 be approved in so far as the event takes place in the area covered by this Area Committee. subject to all appropriate paperwork and licences being obtained and submitted to the Council at least one week prior to the event taking place.
