To consider a report of the Service Director (Place Management)

The report seeks approval to the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order in the vicinity of Outwood Primary School .following complaints from local residents who use mobility scooters with regard to blocked dropped crossing points by parked vehicles.

The Area Committee is requested to approve the Traffic Regulation Order as detailed in the report.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) of the Service Director (Place Management) seeking approval to the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order in the vicinity of Outwood Primary School following complaints from local residents who use mobility scooters with regard to blocked dropping crossing points by parked vehicles.

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the following scheme at an approximate cost of £450 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management Delegated Budget (Heald Green Ward allocation):-

Revocation of No Waiting Monday – Friday 8.30am – 9.30am and 3.15pm – 4.30pm

Outwood Road, Heald Green – north side from a point 50 metres west of the westerly kerb line of Viscount Drive to a point 75 metres west of the westerly kerb line of Viscount Drive.
