To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration
The report sets out a request from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold its annual half-marathon on 2 September 2018 with a circular route being run from and back to Stockport County Football Club along the Trans Pennine Trail between Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester.
The Area Committee is recommended to grant planning permission, subject to the organiser obtaining appropriate papers, event plans, health and safety documentation, licences and/or insurances.

Minutes:
A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out a request from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold its annual half-marathon on 2 September 2018 with a circular route being run from and back to Stockport County Football Club along the Trans Pennine Trail between Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester.
The application had been approved by the Heatons and Reddish Area Committee at its meeting held on 29 January 2018.
RESOLVED – That approval be given to the request from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold its annual half-marathon on 2 September 2018 with a circular route being run from and back to Stockport County Football Club along the Trans Pennine Trail between Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester, subject to the organiser obtaining appropriate papers, event plans, health and safety documentation, licences and/or insurances.
