To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

 

The report details the findings of a consultation exercise and seeks approval for the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders, implementation of traffic calming measures, a temporary 20mph speed limit order and provide quiet lane treatments associated with the planning consent for the housing development at the former BAE site on Chester Road, Woodford.

 

The Area committee is recommended to give approval to the measures contained within the report/drawings and the legal advertising of the package of Traffic Regulation Orders detailed in Appendix A of the report, and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days from the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders at a cost of £210K and is to be funded from the development agreement.

A representation of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing the findings of a consultation exercise and seeking approval for the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders, implementation of traffic calming measures, a temporary 20mph speed limit order and provide quiet lane treatments associated with the planning consent for the housing development at the former BAE site on Chester Road, Woodford.

 

RESOLVED - That approval be given to the measures contained within the report including the implementation of traffic calming measures, a temporary 20mph speed limit order and provide quiet lane treatments and associated plans and the legal advertising of the package of Traffic Regulations Orders detailed in Appendix A of the report, and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Orders, at a cost of £210,000 to be funded from the development agreement associated with the planning consent for the housing development at the former BAE site on Chester Road, Woodford.
