To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

Further to the resolution of the Area Committee on 8 June 2017, the report sets out the result of the consultation with relevant households regarding the request for additional waiting restrictions on Ebbdale Close.

 

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of the No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Ebbdale Close, Stockport and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the result of the consultation with relevant households regarding the request for additional waiting restrictions on Ebbdale Close, Stockport.

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the Area Committee be minded to approve the following No Waiting At any Time Traffic Regulation Order at an approximate cost of £600 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Budget (Brinnington and Central Ward allocation):-

 

Proposed Traffic Regulation Order No Waiting At Any Time

 

Ebbdale Close – south side in the vicinity of property numbers 38-60 Ebbdale Close) from a point 10 metres east of the easterly kerbline of Ebbdale Close (south arm) to a point 10 metres west of the westerly kerbline of Ebbdale Close (south arm).

 

Ebbdale Close (south arm) - Both east and west side (in the vicinity of property numbers 38-60 Ebbdale Close) from the southerly kerbline of Ebbdale Close for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction; and

 

Ebbdale Close (south arm) - south east and east side (in the vicinity of property numbers 50-52 Ebbdale Close) from the south westerly kerbline of Ebbdale Close (south arm) for a distance of approximately 6 metres in a north easterly direction and then in a north westerly direction for a distance of 8 metres.

 

Ebbdale Close (east arm) - east side (in the vicinity of property numbers 39&70 Ebbdale Close) from the southerly kerbline of Ebbdale Close (east arm) for a distance of approximately 6 metres in a northerly direction and then in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 2 metres.

 

 (2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
