To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.

The report details an application from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative who have applied to hold their Stockport Hatters Half Marathon along the Trans Penine Trail at Mersey Vale on Sunday 3rd September 2017 between 9.00am and 12.30pm.

The Area Committee are requested to determine the application.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) requesting the Area Committee to consider an application from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold their annual half marathon and the use of the Trans Pennine Trail between Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester on Sunday 3 September 2017.

RESOLVED – That the application from Stockport County Supporters Co-operative to hold their annual half marathon event and the use of the Trans Pennine Trail between Woolpack Bridge through Mersey Vale and on into Manchester on Sunday 3 September 2017 be approved.
