To consider a report of the Deputy Chief Executive.
The report details a proposal to ameliorate parking and access issues at the Ada Kay Centre, Bredbury in the immediate vicinity of the entrance gates to the Centre prior to it being brought back into active use.
The Area Committee is recommended to give approval to the removal of the existing gates from their current position and the installation of new larger gates set back from the site boundary to allow a larger area for vehicles to manoeuvre without the loss of any residents parking, at a cost of £1,600 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury and Woodley ward allocation).

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Deputy Chief Executive (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal to ameliorate parking and access issues at the Ada Kay Centre, Bredbury in the immediate vicinity of the entrance gates to the Centre prior to it being brought back into active use.
RESOLVED - That approval be given to the use of £1,600 from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Bredbury & Woodley ward allocation) to the removal of the existing gates at the Ada Kay Centre, Bredbury from their current position and the installation of new larger gates set back from the site boundary to allow a larger area for vehicles to manoeuvre without the loss of any residents parking.
