To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report details commuted sums received by the Council from housing developers towards the cost of play provision and the criteria that must be used in allocating sums for play provision.

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the allocation of the commuted sums detailed in the report.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) detailing proposals for the use of new commuted sums for play provision in the Cheadle area and locations of the play areas where those sums were to be spent.

RESOLVED – That the following allocation of commuted sums for play provision in the Cheadle area be approved:-

the use of £9,369.36 from development no. 1224 (DC046421 The Paddock, Cheadle) to future play improvements at Bruntwood Park.
