To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration.

The report seeks approval to introduce traffic calming measures along the full length of Windlehurst Road associated with the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road (A6MARR) Complementary and Mitigation Measures (CMM) for High Lane and Hazel Grove.

The Area Committee are requested to consider the proposals detailed in the report.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) seeking the Area Committees comments on the proposals to introduce traffic calming measures along the full length of Windlehurst Road associated with the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road (A6MARR) Complementary and Mitigation Measures (CMM) for High Lane and Hazel prior to submission to the Executive Councillor (Communities & Housing).

The representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration answered questions from Councillors and members of the public in respect to the proposals.

RESOLVED – That consideration of the report be deferred and the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration be requested to make arrangements for a meeting to take place on site with Councillors and interested parties prior to an updated report being submitted to the next meeting of the Area Committee.
