To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report sets out the results of an investigation into problems caused by the number of vehicles that park very close to the junction of Milton Crescent and Chadvil Road making it difficult to manoeuvre in and out of their driveways.

 

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of the No Waiting At any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Milton Crescent and Chadvil Road, Cheadle and, subject to no objections being received the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the results of an investigation into problems caused by the number of vehicles that park very close to the junction of Milton Crescent and Chadvil Road, Cheadle making it difficult to manoeuvre in and out of their driveways.

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the Area Committee be minded to approve the following No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Milton Crescent and Chadvil Road, Cheadle at an approximate cost of £650 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation):-

 

Proposed Traffic Regulation Order Schedule

 

Milton Crescent, Cheadle – No Waiting at Any Time - west side, from a point, 10 metres south of the intersection of the southern kerb line of Chadvil Road, to a point 18 metres north of the intersection of the northern kerb line of Chadvil Road.

 

Chadvil Road, Cheadle – No Waiting at Any Time - both sides, from the intersection of the western kerb line of Milton Crescent for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.

 

(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
