To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report sets out a proposal for grass verge improvement works at Westmorland Close, Wiltshire Avenue, Cumberland Avenue, and Harwich Close in Brinnington.

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the maintenance scheme outlined in the report and authorise the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration to order the work.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out a proposal for grass verge improvement works at Westmorland Close, Wiltshire Avenue, Cumberland Avenue and Harwich Close in Brinnington.

RESOLVED – That the works to improve the grass verges using a reinforcing material which should prevent continued damage by vehicles at Westmorland Close, Wiltshire Close, Cumberland Avenue and Harwich Close be approved at an approximate cost of £4,054.47 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Brinnington and Central Ward allocation).
