In respect of plan no. DC061698 for the retention of static caravan for residential use in connection with Brook Vale Farm at Brook Vale Farm, Bean Leach Road, Offerton, it was commented that the Committee had concerns in relation to the safety of any occupant of the caravan by virtue of the close proximity of hay storage facilities to the development and the consequent heightened risk of fire.
RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted for a temporary three year period subject to the inclusion of an informative relating to the provision of an adequate fire protection barrier to mitigate the risk of fire associated with the development.
