This report seeks approval to the introduction of a Traffic Regulation order on High Street, Cheadle.

The Area Committee is requested to consider the proposal outlined in the report.

A representative of the Service Director (Environment) submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) seeking approval for the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order for No Waiting at Any Time/No Loading Monday-Friday 8.00am-9.00am and 4.30pm-6.30pm; Saturday 8.00am & 9.30am & 11.30am – 1.30pm on High Street, Cheadle.

RESOLVED – That the Executive Councillor (Transportation) be recommended to implement a Traffic Regulation Order for No Waiting at Any Time/No Loading Monday-Friday 8.00am-9.00am and 4.30pm-6.30pm; Saturday 8.00am & 9.30am & 11.30am – 1.30pm on High Street, Cheadle, at an estimated cost of £1,800 to be met from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management delegated budget, as follows:-

Revocation of No Waiting Monday – Saturday 8am – 11pm / No Loading Monday – Friday 8am – 9am & 4.30pm – 6.30pm & Saturday 8am – 9.30am & 11.30am – 1.30pm

High Street, Cheadle - north west side, from the projected south west kerb line of Wilmslow Road for a distance of 106 metres in a north easterly direction.

High Street, Cheadle - north west side, from the north westerly kerb line of Eden Place for a distance of 108 metres in a north easterly direction.

High Street, Cheadle - south east side, from the south westerly kerb line of Wilmslow Road for a distance of 350 metres in a north easterly direction

High Street, Cheadle - north west side, from a point 26 meters north east of the north easterly kerb line of Church Street for a distance of 135 metres in a north easterly direction.

High Street, Cheadle - south east side, from the north easterly kerb line of Warren Avenue for a distance of 102 metres in a north easterly direction

Wilmslow Road, Cheadle - north east side, from the south easterly kerb line of High Street for a distance of 34 metresin a south easterly direction.
