The Chair reported that the Proud of Stockport would be held on Tuesday, 7 February 2012 and the final date for nominations is Friday, 28 October 2011. She encouraged people to visit www.stockport.gov.uk/proudofstockport for more details or to nominate online.

The Chair reported that 'Civic Voice Day' would take place on Saturday 25 June 2011 and that various events would be held throughout the Marple area culminating with a picnic in Marple Memorial Park commencing at 1.00pm.
He further reported that the Locks Festival would take place in Marple Memorial Park on 3 July 2011.
