To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report outlines the proposed arrangements for the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour and requests the Area Committee to submit their recommendations for a completed development site within their area to be included on the list of sites to be inspected by the Tour delegates. In addition the Area Committee is asked to provide nominations for delegates to attend.

The Area Committee is recommended to:-

(1) Nominate a completed development site to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the Annual Review Tour.

(2) Nominate Members to attend the Annual Review Tour on Friday, 7 October 2016.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal to hold the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour on 7 October 2016 and requesting the Area Committee to submit a recommendation for a completed development site within the Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South area to be included on the list of sites to be inspected by the Tour delegates.  In addition the Area Committee was also asked to provide nominations for delegates to attend.

It was reported that the Planning & Highways Regulation Committee had proposed that the housing development at the former BAe Woodford site, Woodford should be included on the Tour in addition to any site that may be nominated by the Area Committee in view of the strategic importance of the development.

RESOLVED – (1) That the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour be requested to inspect (i) the new sixth form building at Cheadle Hulme High School; and (ii) the residential development on Carrwood Road, Bramhall.

(2) That all members of the area committee be extended an invitation to attend the Tour.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) outlining proposals for the holding of the Review of Outcomes Tour on Friday 7 October 2016 and requesting the Area Committee to nominate a recently completed development site to be included on the list of sites to be visited.

RESOLVED – (1) That the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration be requested to consider the following sites to be visited on the Review of Outcomes Tour:-

·         residential development on Silk Close, Stockport.

·         Houses in Multiple Occupation at 35-37 Greek Street, Stockport

·         the residential development at the junction of Councillor Lane, Birdhall Lane and Adswood Road (the site of the former Greyhound public house). The Area Committee noted that this site fell within the area of the Cheadle Area Committee.

(2) That Councillors Chris Murphy, Maureen Rowles and Charlie Stewart be nominated to attend the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour on 7 October 2016.

RESOLVED – That the report be noted and that the Democratic Services Manager be requested to include an item on the agenda for the next meeting to enable the Area Committee to make a decision.

RESOLVED – That the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration be informed that this Area Committee would wish for the site of new football pavilion at the Stockport Georgians AFC, Cromley Road, Woodsmoor (DC59398) to be included on the Review of Outcomes Tour and that Councillors Wendy Meikle, Mark Weldon and John Wright be nominated to attend.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing a proposal to hold the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour on 7 October 2016 and requesting the Area Committee to submit a recommendation for a completed development site within the Werneth area to be included on the list of sites to be inspected by the Tour delegates.  In addition the Area Committee was also asked to provide nominations for delegates to attend.

RESOLVED – (1) That the Annual Review of Outcomes Tour be requested to inspect the residential development at the former Bredbury Day Nursery, Highfield Park Road, Bredbury.

(2) That Councillor Chris Gordon be nominated to attend the Tour.

RESOLVED – (1) That the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration be authorised to make the necessary arrangements for the Review of Outcomes Tour to take place on Friday, 7 October 2016.

(2) That the Democratic Services Manager be requested to place an item on the agenda for the next cycle of Area Committees to request the nomination of a completed development site to be included on the list of sites to be inspected on the Annual Review Tour and that each Area Committee nominates Members to attend the Tour.

(3) That the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration be requested to include a visit on the Tour to the housing development at the former BAe Woodford site, Woodford in addition to any site that may be nominated by the Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South Area Committee.

(4) That the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration be requested to make arrangements for the Tour to visit a completed conversion of a Class B1(a) office development to Class C3 residential accommodation which had been completed under the prior approval process.
