The report sets out the results of an investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles on Middlesex Road, Brinnington in the vicinity of property numbers 87 and 89.

 

The Area Committee is requested to approve the making of a Traffic Regulation Order for No Stopping on School Entrance Markings on Middlesex Road, Brinnington.

A representative of the Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the results of an investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles on Middlesex Road, Brinnington in the vicinity of property numbers 87 and 89.

 

 RESOLVED – (1) The Area Committee was minded to approve the following Traffic Regulation Order for No Stopping on School Entrance Markings on Middlesex Road, Brinnington, as set out below, at an approximate cost of £950 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Brinnington and Central Ward allocation):-

 

Proposed Traffic Regulation Order No Stopping Monday – Friday 8am-5pm on School Entrance Markings

 

Middlesex Road, Brinnington. - south west side, from a point approximately 41 metres south east of the roundabout junction of The Link and Middlesex Road for a distance of 26 metres in a south easterly direction.

 

(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
