To consider a report of the Chief Executive.
The report proposes upgrading existing Restricted Waiting on part of Lyndhurst Avenue to No Waiting at Any Time, and to install wooden posts, to improve parking around Moorfield Primary following concerns raised. The proposals have been developed following meetings at the school.
The Area Committee is invited to approve the introduction of the following Traffic Regulation Order, and wooden posts, at a cost of approximately £1200 to be funded from the Area Committee’s delegated budget:-
Revoke No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm:

North side from a point 10 metres North West of the North Westerly kerb line of Stokesay Drive for a distance of 20 metres in a North Westerly direction.
North side from a point 15 metres South East of the South Easterly kerb line of Stokesay Drive for a distance of 20 metres in an Easterly direction.
Introduce No Waiting at Any Time:

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Chief Executive (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Area Committee to consider additional measures to reduce inappropriate parking on Lyndhurst Lane to reduce the danger to pedestrians and pupils attending Moorfield Primary School.
RESOLVED – (1) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Order at a cost of approximately £1,600 (including works outside of the legal Order) to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Stepping Hill Ward allocation):-
