To consider a report of the Chief Executive.

The report sets out a proposal to introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions at the junction of Conway Drive and Harlech Drive in Hazel Grove to reduce inappropriate parking and improve safety for pedestrians.

The Area Committee is asked to approve the introduction of the following Traffic Regulation Order, at a cost of approximately £550, to be funded from the Area Committee delegated budget:-

No Waiting at Any Time:

Conway Drive

From the Northerly kerb-line of Harlech Drive for a distance of 10 metres in a Northerly direction.

From the Southerly kerb line of Harlech Drive for a distance of 15 metres in a Southerly direction.

Harlech Drive

Both sides from the Easterly kerb line of Conway Drive for a distance of 10 metres in an Easterly direction.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Chief Executive (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Area Committee to consider No Waiting at Any Time restrictions at the junction of Conway Drive & Harlech Drive, Hazel Grove to protect the junction from inappropriate parking.

RESOLVED – (One against, one abstention) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Order at a cost of approximately £550 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Stepping Hill Ward allocation):-
